IDFB Approves Steam Conditioning
During the June 2005 IDFB meetings in Kyoto Japan, the International Down & Feather Bureau (IDFB) approved “Steam Conditioning” as the official world-wide fill power conditioning method. During the January 2005 IDFB Technical Meeting in Frankfurt, Germany, the exact procedure for Steam Conditioning was approved. This procedure is a combination of the Japanese Method and the Simplified Method.
